Riel Miller is Head of Foresight at UNESCO. Working in policy roles at the government level, Riel became dissatisfied with the shallowness of most forecast or preferred futures. To him they did not offer hope that we were setting a course that would transform the future to something more humane. Thus began his career and purpose journey to his current role with UNESCO and his book Transforming the Future: Anticipation in the 21st Century.
