Anita Sykes-Kelleher found Dr Who and Futures via working in insurance and academia. Two Masters and a PhD later she is an enthusiastic proponent of social and cultural futures that are ethically founded in the narratives of local communities. She believes that change is created both within each person and collectively.
Anita says that ethics is how we work with our power and support others. She works across corporate clients who wish to operate with sensitivity to their impacts, and also how community resources, like water, are shared.

Anita Sykes-Kelleher is an internationally recognised strategic futurist with a passion for empowering organisations and communities to co-create their futures.
She launched a consultancy network, Designer Futures, in 2002 and for the past 18 years has worked with public, private and non-government organisations in Australia and internationally, including designing and facilitating capability building programs for the United Nations and for global corporations.
Anita has a Masters in Leadership and Management, a Masters in Futures Studies, and a Ph.D in social/political sciences on transforming global governance for 2060.
